Eighth grader Riley Smith played softball the previous year as a Ozark Lady Tiger and has plans to try out again this year. Smith’s main positions are right field and pitcher. Smith says she enjoys away games the most.

“I loved getting out of school early for away games because the bus rides are super fun,” explains Smith. “Also getting prepared for home games are fun because we all work together and the field looks really nice for the games. “

OJH students considering trying out for softball need to make sure that the office has a up to date copy of a physical on file. Any girls that show up to tryouts without an updated physical on file cannot tryout.
