Ozark faced the number one team in the nation, the Oak Hill Warriors at John Q. Hammons Arena in the last game of the first round for the 2018 Tournament of Champions January 11.

Ozark lost to Oak Hill Academy 84-64 and and according to Christian Cooper, “Ozark was the fourth team in the 2018 season to even get within 20 points of Oak Hill.”

Quinn Nelson from Ozark helped with scoring 28 points. Oak Hill won the tournament and kept their perfect record in the Tournament of Champions with three tournament wins in the last four years. Ozark took fourth in the tournament upsetting Christ the King, but lost to Wasatch in the third place game.  

Even though Ozark did not win the tournament the team and coach were very pleased with the Tigers’ performance.
