FCA  Club (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) has started meeting again for the school year. The club is organized by Coach Cox and meets in the east gym once each month.

Coach Cox says, “During the FCA meetings we usually talk about who God is and what He means in your life.” In order to be in FCA all students have to do is show up in the east gym during advisory and have an interest in sports and Jesus.

A majority of the student leaders were selected by other students. Coach Cox says, “All the leaders (for this year) should be determined by the end of this week.” FCA got a late start this fall so the decisions on who was selected as student leaders was lower than normal.

“A typical FCA gathering has between 60-70 students,” explains Cox. He hopes to have more join as the chub begins to meet more regularly. This is Cox’s second year running FCA since he came back to Ozark Junior High as physical education teacher and coach last year.
