Sydney Gipson is an eighth-grade student at Ozark Junior High. This is her first year on the newspaper staff and she has been dreaming of using writing as a way to provide other citizens information, entertainment, and comedy for years. Her favorite subjects are history, French, and art. She enjoys spending time with her horses, Reese and Dove on a farm she volunteers at, Reasons Ranch. She also cherishes all of her books, time with family and friends, softball, music and art with meaning in them, and watercolor painting anytime she can. She especially adores volunteering, road trips with her family, and swimming. She has lots of sisters and a few brothers and began living with her father one year ago which is why she moved to Ozark.
